    You want to do it slowly so you don't overload your stomach.

    Start adding higher calorie foods to your diet. Peanuts, cheese, butter, olive oil, whole milk, etc...

    Instead of only eating the average calorie intake , up it a little each month by eating more protein foods such us chicken , meat and veg

    Welcome to the site, I am new as well!
    Many people are looking to gain weight , but it is important that you do it in a healthy way! Gaining weight does not mean you need to constantly be eating fast food and pizza. The best way to gain healthy weight is by eating natural, whole foods and paying attention to caloric intake. You need to be eating more calories than you are burning off.
    Some great healthy options to gain weight:

    Lean red meats- it contains tons of protein and iron and it is a good source of calories. You do want to be careful how much you eat though. Make sure to trim off the fatty pieces and don't eat it more than 2-3 times per week because it contains high amounts of cholesterol.

    Avocado- This is really great if you're trying to gain healthy weight. It has plenty of natural fats, but the good fats that your body needs. It also contains high levels of potassium, folic acid, and vitamin E.

    Nuts- These are great snacking foods when you're trying to gain healthy weight. Many types of nuts are full of healthy fats, nutrients, and lots of fiber.
