    How to gain width?

Hi, I am 6'0 and very thin. I cannot wear tight shirts at all. I've been trying to gain weight. I have gained around 5 pounds but all of it went to my stomach pretty much. I was wondering how i can gain some width to my body? My body is so thin it literally is like a triangle from my shoulder down to my hip bones. Any tips?

If you don't mind my asking, how old are you? Male or female?

When you gain weight, it almost ALWAYS first gains to your stomach. THIS IS TEMPORARY. I recently (within the last year) gained 25 lbs- at first it all gained to my tummy..after a few months it redistributes evenly over your body. Trust me, it'll happen (not overnight, but it will happen!). If you still want to weigh more, gain more weight, and put up with it temporarily on your tummy...after a while itll shift all over you (lol sounds bad, i know.)

    Hydrox.

Why not start some serious weight training. Just gaining weight will NOT give you the look you want. Do excercises like presses (especially BENCH) and curls that will build chest, shoulders, and arms.
Pull up motions will sculpt the back and you'll start to turn that "triangle" upside down!
Noboby every gained fat and had it go where it was attractive- it's ALWAYS the wrong place (like the belly especially for men.)

What I was driving at was wondering whether you had had a growth spurt recently (within the last year) which always leaves one looking a bit like a bean pole, but in time you fill out. (Meanwhile the weight training sounds good.)
