Hi,In my opinion there is nothing like the real stuff. One can find organic grown meat that is very healthy compared to the processed types of meats .With processed meat, one hasn't a clue if we are eating pulverized bones, feathers,or what. Stick to the real meat and you will also make the American ranchers happy!!!!

there are a lot of vegetarian foods that look and taste something like chicken and other meats. you might think they're weird at first (i did, too), but consider the following:

    a) a lot of them taste really good
b)they're cholesterol free, lower in saturated fat, have no growth hormones or antibiotics, won't risk giving you salmonella or a bunch of other pathogens (unlike meat which have all of the above), etc...
    c) they are in fact made of real foods that you're probably consuming anyway (i.e. plant proteins, grains, etc)- so it's not "fake" _food_, just not the actual flesh of a formerly living being.
d)they certainly couldn't be any grosser than the decomposing corpse of a small tortured and murdered bird. you have a nice meal and nobody has to lose her life-seems like a pretty good deal to me.

i haven't tried this particular brand, but there are a lot of good products out there if you're open to giving them a chance.

Are you kidding me? The substitutes are awesome! I personally love tofu and soy meat.

The El Natural "chicken breasts" are actually really good. I've only been a veggie for a few weeks now, but they are one of my favorites. I like to put them on salads. I've only found a few other meat substitutes that I like, boca burgers are one of them. With all the fixings of a regular burger, you can hardly taste the difference.

I tried tofu once and wanted to puke(sorry) but I never tried this chicken. I'll have to write down the name and give it a try but I have a feeling I'm not going to like it, lol. Anyways, I always wanted to know this, does this "fake chicken" have the all the amino acids in it that meat has?

I've tryed tofu/soy etc... and in my opinion it is NASTY! I would eat sushi before I even touch that stuff again (and I hate sushi, lol). God made animals for a reason.. and that was to nourish us... so I will stick with my meats and veggies and other foods, lol. But, to each thier own... if you can eat that stuff... my respect goes to you 100%

I'm SO inbetween on this subject of eating meat. I can relate to the one side (vegetarians) and the other(omnivores). They ate meat in the bible, but then again it is cruel how they treat the animals, especially the (non organic farmed) animals. But, animals would overpopulate the earth if none of us ate meat and they would die one way or the other. Plus animals eat other animals to survive, it's natural evolution. So, like I said, I'm inbetween on this one, but I definitely don't like tofu/soy, LOL.blah!
