I don't know a ton about Kefir. Both yogurt and kefir are cultured milk products, and offer probiotic benefits. I have read support from both sides. Some people say yogurt (specifically yogurts which have various types of bacteria) is best, some think Kefir is best. Personally I just LOVE the taste of the Activia probiotic yogurt and it gives me the healthy bacteria I need.
Activia is a Danone product and there is a website. You should check it out (I would give it to you, but now allowed, use search engine).
Hope this helps! | Yes it does help, thank you!!! |

So far today:
Breakfast: 1 piece and a half of oatmeal toast with "trans" fat free butter and cinnamon(good idea girly) 2 cups of coffee, fish oil, calmag
Snack: Very veggie juice with perfect green food (tablespoon)
Lunch:Small side of sirloin tips, side of brown rice, and a side of cucs, red peps, brocolli in a special sauce(with italian dressing etc)
Dinner: Whole grain cereal with raisens and soy(low fat) milk.
Snack: Popcorn with galric(on a kick with this stuff) Pineapples, and watermelon.
I felt kinda sick last night, and don't know why, and I feel nauseated this morning. I don't think that I could eat much today...I don't know what is wrong with me.

Hey sammy...the marg i had was TRANS fat free...so its not fat free, it just doesnt have the BAD trans fats. It still is basically all fat. But you should definately allow yourself some. It really does change the flavour of things, and everyone needs fat to be healthy!!!

LS- you day is really good, but still on the light side! Don't be afraid to have more fat, because you are definately lacking in that area too little isnt good either!). Make your dessert anything you want! Maybe you could make cupcakes from scratch, or a fruit salad with some fresh whipping cream or ice cream, etc.

Mmm- cupcakes from scratch. Haha. I made cookies from scratch the other day and they were absolutely amazing.
I don't consider my days to be "light", but maybe that's because I am so used to eating healthy. I felt like I overate yesterday (and eating too many carbs still bothers me) so today this is what I've had so far to compensate:
Breakfast: Venti latte (200), Luna bar (180)
Snack: Banana (100)
Late lunch/snack at 2:30: Pretzels (230) string cheese (80) and cottage cheese (80)
Dinner: going out - we will see....

Again, can someone tell me if I'm going the right way about my diet:
Breakfast:
Three Weetabix, with a cut banana inside. Orange juice.
Snack:
Pack of dried fruit (banans, sultanas etc).
Lunch:
One Ham sandwich, Orange Juice and an apple.
Snack:
A Jam sandwich (the bread was only 96 calories, so only think it'll be around 200 altogether)
Dinner:
Half a ham sandwich, half tuna. Coca Cola.
