    Question Xenadrine and Alcohol

i just started taking Xenadrine RFA-1, and i was wondering if it was dangerous to mix it with alcohol... it doesnt say anything about it on the label, but i thought it would be better to ask.

Hi there. Personally, I think diet pills of any kind are for the birds. I would get rid of them. Even if you do lose weight on them, its an artificial way to lose weight. Unless you change your eating habits, the weight will come back on anyway. Diet pills are risky; not worth it to me. Drinking alcohol and taking diet pills most likely increases the risk to your health. It is possible to lose weight naturally: just get rid of the junk healthy foods, in moderate portions; and get some exercise. The weight will come off, and you'll retain your health...deb

To answer the posters original question.....

I use Stacker 2, a similar ephedra product, and have had no adverse effects when drinking alcohol.

I once used the ephedrine/alcohol combo without any harm, but i was young and healthy. Ephedrine can cause adverse symptoms on the heart because it increases the energy demands. Alcohol can also damage heart. Only in recent yrs has medical science found the link between alcohol consumption and heart disease (alcohol induced cardiomiopathy). Alcohol is a powerfull adaptagen as well as muscle relaxer. Alcohol actually relaxes the heart muscle. So, theoretically, ephedrine increases demands on a heart muscle that is trying to relax from alcohol.
