Does anyone know how much acid this yogurt contains? Someone told me that the cause of canker sores could be from yogurt and since I eat it every other day, I was wondering if there was enough acid in it to be the cause of canker sores. Anyone know? I usually eat the strawberry/banana

I eat yogurt 5 times a week, including Dannon, and I have never had a canker sore in my life (knock on wood). Yogurt contains Acidolphius, which is supposed to be anti-bacterial. So, if anything, I would think eating yogurt would prevent cankers sores rather than cause them. But that's JMO.

Hello, I always thought that cankor sores are cause by cold viruses. Yogurt that has live cultures is supposed to be good for curing and preventing infections. I find that I get cankor sores in the corner of my mouth when I eat too much salt, so I just slow down on the salt and they go away.

Yogurt is basically milk-based, so I don't know how canker sores can result. I would be interested in knowing too especially since you heard this before.
