Recommended minimum amount of red meat
Hello,
There is a lot of advice on limiting the amount of red meat you eat but I would like to look at it from the other side - how much should I be eating? I prefer not to eat red meat at all but I know I need a small amount to keep up my iron levels. I know you can get iron from other foods but from what I have read it seems red meat is the best source.
Therefore, my question is, what is the minimum amount of red meat recommended per week for a healthy diet?
I eat a lot of fruit and veg.
I am 27yr old female.
