    Question on fundoplication "unwrapping"

I had a fundoplication two years ago that was successful in stopping GERD. One month ago, I reacted to some medication and vomited severely for two days. Since then, my stomach has been hurting and it is difficult to pass food into my stomach.

Has my fundoplication become "unwrapped" or otherwise damaged? How do I get this checked out? Upper endoscopy? How urgent is this? Right now I'm eating pureed foods to avoid stomach pains. I'm a bit scared.

    Any suggestions welcome.
