Could whole grain chips cause constipation?

I thought whole grains were good at preventing constipation, but whenever I eat a certain type of whole grain snack, I get really constipated. These are the ingredients:

Stone Ground Non-GMO Whole Corn, Sunflower Oil, Sprouted Seed and Grain Blend (Sprouted Flax Seed, Sprouted Quinoa, Sprouted Chia Seed, Sprouted Broccoli Seed, Sprouting Daikon Radish Seed), Pure Sea Salt.

Is there anything there that is a red flag for being constipating?

That type of fibre absorbs fluid from the colon and can exacerbate constipation...depending on how much, and if there is not enough roughage or fluid intake as well.

Do you have a history of constipation and not going at all? And are you also taking in salads, veggies, fruits, etc?

Yes, I have chronic constipation in the sense that stools are hard and difficult to pass causing hemorrhoids. I usually go every day, though. I've tried senna tea, docusate and polyethylene glycol to try to soften things up. They don't work on me. Exercise doesn't help. The only thing I've found that occasionally helps is eating a big dish of steamed broccoli, but that get tiresome after a few days.

In addition to the above suggestions, try adding salads.

Make sure you're drinking plenty of water! Ppl say eat fibre but often forget to mention you need a balance of fluid too.

Also something simple that helped me was to eat a kiwifruit every day!
