    Small Intestine? Cancer?
    I listed my symptoms and tests I've had in a previous post. My GP suggested I ask GI doc about a test of small intestines where you swallow an encapsulated camera? Has anyone had this test? Has anyone had cancer of the small intestine or other problems of small intestine to cause symptoms? Thanks.

    Hi: Yes I had diverticulitis in the small intestine. Very painful, but it wasn't cancer. I had surgery for the pockets because they weren't sure what it was and did exploratory surgery and saw them and removed them. o.k. now
    There are so many conditions you can have besides cancer.

    I just read in our local paper that my hospital will be offering the capsule. I've never had it but it seems to be a test gaining usage.
