Question Any ideas for gas?

I'm not sure where I should be posting this question but I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I seem to be having a gas problem. ALOT. It doesn't matter if I've eaten or what I've eaten but I just seem to pass gas all the time. I have been told that I suffer from IBS but I never take anything for it. Is there anything out there that I can take to stop the gas attacks? I was thinking of taking Beano but again it doesn't matter if I eat or not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I too suffer from gas all the time! It can be so embarassing. I do not have much advice but can sympathize with you. I don't burp a lot due to Nissan Fundiplication surgery so it comes out the other end! I work outside the home and find it very embarassing at times, luckily I don't seem to smell a lot. Gas X does help somewhat. You can try that.

Re: Any ideas for gas?

I get it even if my stomach is empty and it never smells so to speak...but I will get gassy any time of the day and it is so embarrasing. Don't you have to drink that stuff...I can't do it...can't drink stuff. Pills I have no problem with. Any other ideas?

Re: Any ideas for gas?

I have IBS (doctors says so, but I don't know for sure) and I have taken Zelnorm and although its not working great like it did when I first started taking it, it was great for getting rid of the bloating and gas. Ask your doctor about it. Good luck. I have bloating and gas problems too and on going digestive problems, so I know your misery...barb

Re: Any ideas for gas?

Ask your doctor for an anit-gas diet. I will be a list of foods you can't eat and foods you can. I know fatty and fried foods are on the don't eat list.
