Clill..... new thread for you

Hi Clill

MAybe you do need your small bowel looked at, you could ask for a barium follow through of the small bowel, gastro graph follow through. Do you know how far down the doc went when he done the endoscopy?? If he didnt go into your small bowel then he wouldnt get a view of your ileum or small bowel.

My crohns has been diagnosed by the small bowel follow through....crohns in small bowel and ileum.....but when i had the gastro graph that also showed up problems, it was the last one that finally diagnosed it.

My blood work that keeps coming back all cocked up is the ESR indicators, this shows inflammation by looking at the white blood cells. If you just have a full blood count done it wont show up inflammation, you need to make sure your doc ticks the ESR box.

If you feel that there is something wrong with you then dont give up, if you are showing physical symptoms as well keep pressing your doctor.

Re: Clill..... new thread for you

thanks for that! I don't think I have Crohn's, but I didn't think you did either! My pain is more nagging than sharp, and its definitely above the belly button. Bloating, belching, and stomach pain are the biggies. Plus, I don't think my stool is normal. But then again, I had never looked at it before. My weight loss has been more steady than sudden, and its hard to say if its the diet I have here in Paris versus the one in London, and/or the additional stress and anxiety of my job. Its got me really depressed though, and I really don't know if I could put up with this forever.

I pulled out my bloodwork, and it looks like they tested for about 75 different things, but its in French, and since I can't read French, it doesn't tell me a whole lot. However, I know that my levels are all within the normal ranges based on a chart.

Well, good luck to you. At least now you know you're a day closer to feeling better.
