I went to the doctor on Monday and she felt that the breathing problems WERE related to the GERD. She did prescribe and inhaler for the wheezing. She said this would be diagnostic. If the inhaler helped then the wheezing was from the lungs. If the GERD was the culprit the inhaler wouldn't be helpful. She also switched me from prilosec to Nexium. She said that the nexium was to be better than the prlosec for healing uclers. So I got the answers to my questions that I posted previously. We are still experimenting with the inhaler and I really can't tell a difference, thus far. What has worked for many of you that have had breathing problems with GERD?
