 Intrathoracic stomach
I just had an Upper GI endoscopy. Finding were normal except what was described as "A J-shape deformity was found in the entire stomach. Said it suggests the possibility of a partial intrathoracic stomach. I have am going in on Wednesday for UGI series to better define the gastric anatomy. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this. What exactly does it mean. I was under sedation when I talked with the doctor, but I remember he did mention possible surgery to correct the problem. Interested in hearing about anyone with same diagnosis and what was done and the results. Thank you for any help you can give me. Halley
