Is it ok to take Pepto for food poisoning?-HELP!

Food poisoning usually comes out both ends, to be graphic (vomit and diarrhea). If you have this, then just let it all go out (no meds other than Tylenol or somethin).

When I had food poisoning, I felt like I had been run over, with fever, vomit and diarrhea often, and general body aching. I couldnt even keep water down for a bit but that went away.

If you arent getting better in 24 hours or you start feeling even worse, dont be shy to call for help.

Im no doctor, so take this advice with a grain of salt of course.

I had the flu--with vomitting and diarhea a while ago and I thought the same thing--try pepto because it helps with nausea---WRONG! As soon as it hit my stomach back up it came. So it doesn't do anything for the flu. Food poisoning is probably the same way. You will just have to wait it out and drink lots of fluid to stay hydrated!
