Post How to rule out achalasia

When my troubles first began, one of my symptoms was difficulty swallowing, so I feared I might have achalasia. But that symptom has seemed to go away for the most part. Is achalasia possible without swallowing difficulty, or minimal swallowing difficulty? Or would it be obvious that I can't swallow (choking, regurgitation of food into the mouth, etc)? Thanks.
