Do I suffer from lactose intolerance?

I don't fully understand lactose intolerance. Whenever I drink milk I usually get a stomach ache, this can be more severe and can include diarrhea depending on what time of day I drink the milk (Mornings and nights are worse) and how much I drink. If I get a stomach ache from drinking milk, does that mean that I am lactose intolerant? Thanks in advance.

Re: Do I suffer from lactose intolerance?

Most likely. You should stop drinking milk for awhile and then drink some and see if you get sick again. If you do, then you can't tolerate cow's milk. There are alot of alternatives to cow's milk. Goat, soy or rice milk are very good.
I am also intolerant. I drink either soy or rice milk for my cereral. Though if it is in very small amounts for cooking, it doesn't seem to bother me as bad.
Good luck!
