Question cause of my acid reflux: help needed bigtime!

I am somewhat new to these boards, but people really seem to know their stuff here. I have been having a problem with acid reflux lately. I am going to list my normal breakfast consumption because I have reflux mostly at lunch and sometimes at dinner. It usually occurs the second the first piece of food hits my stomach, although my stomach is not upset. Here is what I consume for breakfast every day:
    1. 4-5 ounces glass of Welsh's 100% Purple Grape Juice
    2. glass of cold water
    3. a half or whole onion bagel with cream cheese
    4. a variety of healthy cereals from Trader Joes in 2% cow milk
    5. an apple
    6. 250 mg of Vitamin C
    7. 400 IU's of Vitamin E
    8. a mutli-vitamin
    9. 100 mg of Selenium
    10. 50 mg of CQ10
    11. 500 mg of L-Carnitine
    12. 100 mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid
    13. one capsule of Green Tea Extract and Grape Seed Extract

Please give me some opinions on which of these item(s) may be causing my acid reflux. I want the reflux to stop because my esophagus health is important. Thanks for your help. If you need more information from me, let me know and I give it! Thanks! Dave

Three things that I see as potential problems are the grape juice, the milk and the cream cheese. GERD diets recommend against fats, red wine (i.e. acidic fruit) and I generally believe that dairy causes issues anyway. Try substituing apple juice for the grape, soy or rice milk for the 2%, and giving up the cream cheese. Just a thought.

The onion bagel probably isnt going to help any.I have gerd and dairy products dont seem to give me a problem. Some ppl it does,so your just going to have to start a food diary and go by process of elimination.Of course there are those of us out here where food is not going to make much of a differance.Good luck.

Thanks for everyone's help so far. I decided to 86 the onion bagels and I also decided to take my L-Carnitine with meals instead of 30 minutes before. I am going to temporarily stop drinking my morning Welsh's Purple Grape Juice (high acidity). I was drinking it for the heart health, but I think I am more at-risk for esophegal problems than heart problems as heart disease is nowhere in my family. Does anyone suspect the Alpha Lipoic Acid or Green Tea Extract? Thanks for your help! Dave
