    gastritis and cranberry juice

I was diagnosed with stomach inflammation a while back (basically gastritis) with no h.pylori present. I've been getting flare ups since where I have to go for days without eating because I either vomit, or feel so nauseous I have to go to bed and stop even thinking. Yesterday I had a similar flare up, but I drank a lot of cranberry juice just before. Would cranberry be bad for gastritis because of its alkaline content, therefore makes the stomach pump out more and more acid? Or would it be good for it? Cranberry definitely seems to be a trigger and I want to be able to definitely rule it out and have a "scientific reason" behind it. Thanks.
