Please give me some ideas I am worried

Sunday night I had the worst Diarrhea ever running to the bathroom over and over. So I took 4 imodium. So then I didnt go rest of Monday and part of Tuesday Well when I did go Tuesday it was very hard stools and light colored. this was weird, I went later on that night and it was brown and light very hard pieces again.
Now this morning it was loose again but mostly brown small part of light.
SHould I go see the Dr or should I just wait it out, I have noticed that I have a VERY Crabby gut, it will be great for awhile then bam something will trigger it to be bad and it lasts for a week or so
Please someone help

Re: Please give me some ideas I am worried

I wouldn't get too excited yet, because it could just be what you ate. When you took the four Imodium, you plugged things up for a couple days. I would just wait and see what happens. I have IBS and I've been through the whole routine and wish I had your problems. If the diarrhea persists or gets worse, then you might want to get a referral to a Gastroenterologist and have them do a colonoscopy to see if there are any problems.

You don't say what your age is, but people over 50 should have the test regularly. About every two years.

Re: Please give me some ideas I am worried

I am 37 years old, I have been diagnosed with IBS before, but never had a colonscopy, just went by symptoms and take fiber for it, I have a very sensative gut LOL. I have also been diagnosed with High Blood pressure and take meds and also diabetes take meds, Thanks to genetics. Runs in the family. I also am a very HUGE worry wart, I worry about everything and anything.

Things seem more normal today. If you get what I mean, it is still loose stools but not so bad I have to run to the bathroom. I am probably just really stressed out and I hate a very greasy meal Sunday for dinner, which I usually dont eat lots of grease. I will just watch it and see what happens

Thanks for answering
