Difference - Stomach Acid and Enzymes?

Would anyone know what the difference between stomach acid and stomach enzymes is? I understand we produce stomach acid to break down food in our stomach but I thought that was what enzymes were for... Or are they the same thing.

For example. One can be Gluten Intolerant if you don't have an enzyme to break down gluten. Then wouldn't the stomach acid break gluten down?

Thanks to anyone who can clear that up.
