Morning Nausea, Loss of Appetite, Burping, HELP
Hi there, I am a 17yr old male. A couple of months ago I experienced a severe period in which I was frequently vomiting, lost a massive part of my appetite and felt constantly nauseous followed by obvious weight loss. I went to a doctor who diagnosed me with Gastritis and prescribed anti acid reflex pills and a course of antibiotics. The symptoms fortunately passed after a month or so during a a vacation.
Recently however I have been waking up a very acute sense of nausea and am unable to eat anything substantial. IN trying to eat a normal sized breakfast I am incapable of swallowing and gag excessively to the point of almost throwing up. The symptoms get marginally better later in the day and I am able to eat a small sized lunch, but nowhere near as much as I used to eat.
I am an avid gym goer and eat a 3000 calorie diet, heavily centered around nuts (almonds, walnuts) and milk. I do have a peanut allergy but can handle other nuts fine. I have cut milk and nuts out of my diet recently in relation to my symptoms to no effect.
I have no reason to believe that it is stress or anxiety related.
Any advice on the possible cause of the condition or similar experience would be much appreciated.
