My GP diagnosed me with BPPV.

Been dizzy now for almost 8 weeks though it seems to be fading now.

I've had tinnitus for about a week now.

Symptoms come and go almost like attacks. Then I feel dizzy for a few days and then okay again.

I'm just wondering. I've been reading about BPPV and it says almost everywhere: especially dizzy when lying in bed.
But I never have symptoms in bed. Never had any either.

Can this be with BPPV?

Re: Bppv?

You can have BPPV if the vertigo is brought on by certain movements which don't have to be in bed. You can be sitting down normally and just look upwards or backwards or whatever. It would be the same movement each time, though. I believe these conditions can be difficult to diagnose! Can you get to a specialist ENT Consultant? If it is BPPV it can be treated with the Epley manouvre and if not, there are other treatments available from physiotherapists. I have replied to your earlier post since you seem to have some similarities with my condition.
