bppv vertigo which ear?

I am a 33 y/o male. My head started to spin two weeks ago when trying to get out of bed. I had this happened to me once 5 years ago when laying on the right side. I immediately found comfort turning to the left side and it totally went away after a day. This time I am not sure which side it is on because I seem to get dizzy laying on both sides (although more stronger on the left it seems). I went to the ENT yesterday and said I had it on the right so he did the epley on me twice. I was dizzy laying on the right, but more violently when laying to left. It did not relieve me, and he thought it was weird that my eyes rolled more while on the left. But I do not know why he was adament that it was my right ear that was the problem (maybe because I told him of my first account of it 5 years ago?) He told me to go home and do the BRANDT-DAROFF a week first then go back to him if it is still there. Can anyone tell me if it could still be my right ear if the spins are more violent when laying on my left. Should I try the epley on my own with the left ear? If this sounds like you and you have fixed this I would love to hear of your insightts. This is literrally killing me and my wedding is in two weeks. Thank you!
