BPPV and air travel

Does anyone have experience with BPPV and air travel? I need to take a 13 hour flight in ~ 6 weeks and I'm concerned about head movements in take-off/landing.

I've had BPPV for 3 years. Each recurring "attack" begins with the spinning vertigo, which can only be cleared with Epley maneuver. Have tried the home exercises but it brings so much nausea and headache that it prevents my working so I've been unable to do the exercises. Laying down flat and looking straight up cause my vertigo. To avoid attacks, I sleep in an elevated position (never on the wrong side) and no looking straight up.

Can anyone suggest whether there would be a problem with head position while the plane is taking off or landing? I assume my head to body position in the seat would remain constant but if anyone has had experience one way or the other I would appreciate guidance. I know I will need to take anti-anxiety medicine before the flight!!
