    Question Labyrinthitis - Sleeping problem

I often feel like I'm almost recovered from labyrinthitis, but every once in awhile it gets me still... Last night I was almost sleep and all of a sudden I was jolted awake and felt like I hadn't been breathing or something. Either that or my brain had skipped a beat. I've had the same thing happen quite a few times throughout labyrinthitis. It was really unsettling and I had trouble falling asleep after that. Has anyone else experienced this with labyrinthitis?

I've also noticed some ear pressure that I hadn't noticed for awhile. I was diagnosed with lab 3 months ago... Could it really be causing ear pressure after this long?

This illness has me so anxious. I just want to be me again. Any advice/reassurance is greatly appreciated!

Could you have sleep apnea? That's what your episode sounds like.

I have episodes of BPPV and during those I have the exact same thing happen. Sleeping more propped up helped mine. Horrible sensation though.
