    Question Concerta, wellbutrin, trazodone, lamictal (lamotrigine) and ativan
    I have been prescribed all of these medications:
    concerta for ADD, trazadone for insomnia, lamictal for bipolar, wellbutrin for depression and ativan for anxiety.

    Is this combination of drugs addictive (I know concerta is)?

    Does anyone find that low doses of Concerta (18mg) are ineffective?

    I have to take 54mg of Concerta in order for it to work and then trazodone to sleep.

    Does anyone else take this combination of drugs?

    Does anyone have any advice?

    I take a similar cocktail : effexor, wellbutrin, remeron, lithium, zyprexa and trazodone and have been told they are not addictive but mind you I would not want to stop taking them all of a sudden

    i'd never take more than 2 meds at one time. i'd consult another doctor if i were you. take care and good luck.

    If you trust your Dr.you should be talking to him or her . but yes many people do take more than one medication of their illness I would recomend Biopolar board.

    i don't know about the interactions, but i DO know that ativan can be addictive...
    ativan, and any benzo can be addictive in as little as 3 weeks...
    i took ativan consistently, daily, for about a month and a half...
    i worked with my doctor who gave me a schedule to ween off and i suffered no side effects or withdrawl symptoms as a result...
    so just make sure you talk to your doctor and you should be fine...
