| Xeloda tablets
Dear All,
Can you please guide, my mother has undergone a CA Breast Surgery in March 2006 and after two year she has been detected with nodes in Brain and Trachea. For brain she has undergone Radiation treatment and has been put on Xeloda tablets simultaneously.
My concern is that when she takes Xeloda tablets and we carry out the CA-15.3 test the counts falls where in after stopping Xeloda tablets her counts rises but the variations are all falling between 0-28.
She do undergo tablets side effects like nausea, gastic, etc.
I have read on the net also that "patients with gastic disorder" also elevates the levels of CA15.3.
Please advise, how and what are the otherways to find out if the cancerous cells are not multiplying further.
