I have high cholestgrol and trigs. Dr. wants to put me on atorvastatin 20mg. I am currently takeing fenofibrate 160mg and lisinopril 10mg for HB
Heard the combo could cause muscle pain. Is it ok to combine these? im worried.

Major interactions! It should be avoided! I'm surprised your doctor doesn't know this.........scary Exactly how high is your cholesterol? What is the breakdown? These statin drugs can cause major problems that sometimes are permanent.

Now im more scared. Yes I brought this up and she says they have alot of patients on this combo with no problems. If I do experience pain to stop and notify her.
My last Cholestrol readings was 330, trigs 220
I havnt tried it yet cause im worried. But i have them.

I would not take the combo no matter what she said, but it's up to you. It's your body. You can cut your trigs. by cutting way back on sugars/carbohydrates. That will bring down your total cholesterol. What was your HDL and LDL?
