| 2 weeks post Stapedectomy, ENT
I'm 2 weeks post stapedectomy and still not feeling myself. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the symptoms I am experiencing. I had a post op appt last week, at 1 week post op. Dr thinks I'm healing well and is happy with the sounds I'm experiencing. However I'm not convinced the way I'm feeling is "normal". The best way I can describe how I'm feeling is by the NyQuil commercial. The guy in the commercial, his head blows up like a balloon and floats off, that's how I feel. Lightheaded and a full feeling. No excessive dizziness, only if I cough or something and it goes away immediately. My Equalibrium is also still off a bit but I also still have all the packing in place. I began using ear drops 4 days ago, no change yet. I have no pain, no nausea. Just this constant "full" feeling, lightheaded, and occasional dizziness. Any thought, or ideas??????
