After Tonsillectomy

I got a tonsillectomy in Aug 2015 and I'm still getting sick to the point where I lose my voice and I get extremely fatigued and it's interrupting my work. I was wondering if anyone knows if that is common or is there something I should get checked? He only cauterized my adenoids because they were not swollen at all. I did the surgery so I wouldn't be sick but I have been about 3 or 4 times since then. Any help would be great! Thank you!

Re: After Tonsillectomy

I still have those issues sometimes. I got my tonsils removed 2 years ago. The main problem that I have is constant nasal drip. I can talk for an hour and relax and as soon as i start talking my voice goes from 100% to 40%. I was told losing your voice is normal. I am not sure about the tiredness though. Hope i helped haha!
