It can take 3-5 weeks to completely heal. What you are feeling might be scabs coming off.

I understand what you are feeling. I am on day 7 and I had some really horrible pain this morning. I am not eating well, yet but I have this feeling like something is stuck in the back of my throat. It is more on one side then the other. I do pray you are feeling much better now since I have seen you got yours out in October.

I am on day 11. And i feel the exact same way. My throat is clogged up. i constantly have to take a sip of water after every few bites. I also am having the issue of only having one side hurt. On one side it feels like I am literally swallowing knifes. I called the doctor and they told me it is completely normal. Hope all is well.
