    Swimmers Ear, Muffled Hearing

Last Thursday: Urgent Md. Swimmers ear. Given antibiotic drops. Moderate pain
*Friday: Developed low fever in evening. 99-100.4 Immense pain
*Saturday: Prompt Care. Given Ear wick. Swollen Ear. Tessalon pearls. Immense pain. Told to take 600 mg ibuprofen every 6 hrs.
*Sunday: Pain more tolerable but about a 7 out of 10.
*Monday: Ear wick didn't come out. Called Prompt Care decided to wait until next day.
*Tuesday: Prompt Care wouldn't accept insurance. Husband removed wick. Hearing was better, but not fully recovered.
*Wednesday: Minimal pain. Still muffled hearing. Yellow- tinged discharge. Urgent MD. Irrigated ear. Told I had fluid behind ear drum. "Growth" in ear. Given steroid shot(decadron) and prescribed nasal spray. That night, the discharge was pink/ red tinged when draining ear drops.
*Thursday: Woke up with soreness in ear . took 1 ibuprofen. Anxiety is terrible. Red tinged discharge. Itchiness. Worried for abscess. Hard spot behind ear lobe area. Went to ER. Scraped "growth" out. Irrigated
*Friday: Went back to Urgent Md. Told to stop antibiotics and wait for ENT appt. No fluid behind drum.
*Saturday: Ear still muffled but not as much. No discharge. Lymph nodes swollen. Felt dizzy/nauseous. Swollen tonsils?? Achy joints but no fever.

Now: I feel like I'm losing my mind. I've been dealing with this for a week now. I already have terrible health anxiety so everytime I get sick, I'm convinced it will kill me. Idk what to do anymore. Any advice? Thank you.
