Deviated septum help?
This is something i've been struggling with for the better part of a decade. It seems to be getting worse as i get older. Does anyone know if there's any home remedies for this or if there's anything that can be done prior to surgery?

No,surgery is the only option to get it back where it belongs.

What problems is it causing you happy?

i had a sinus infection for nearly a year before I had the surgery. I had lost my sense of smell. Afterwards I learned all sorts of tricks that kept me from getting to that point again.

mucinex oral pill, nasal spray stuff that opens you up as well. Netipot is a true life saver. Vicks make a personal steamer that you stick your face into. Hot steam also life saving. First sign of a cold use cold eeze, allergy zyrtec- anything that can bother your nose take care of it before it become an issue. Did I mention flonase?

The surgery wasn't much, never took the pain meds. I tried to go hiking the day after surgery- don't do that Slept for a couple of days. I remember the first thing I smelled was the flowers my friends sent. my nose was more attractive after the surgery, I was very happy for having it.
