    Right inferior meatus lesion

Was diagnosed with a small vascular lesion in my nose. Doctor has referred me to ENT doctor who canít see me until early January. The lesion first showed up on a CT for implants. The radiologist wrote that the right inferior meatus showed a soft tissue fullness. That was in April. Does anyone out there know of this condition?

    Re: Right inferior meatus lesion

My husband had sinus surgery and was told he had a few lesions going into the meatus...they are usually nothing more than polpys which might be removed or might not be. Most of them are benign and are just growths....if they bother you, they may remove them in a quick surgery to biopsy them, but usually the ENT can tell you if they need to be removed or not.

The surgeon removed one on my husband and it was nothing other than soft tissue, nothing to worry about. He had a deviated septum which is why he went in for surgery to begin with.

I wouldnt worry- more than likely its nothing and your ENT will let you know if he thinks it needs further study.
