    hmmmm that metal pick thingy sounds very dangerous. His hand could slip and risk a puncture of your eardrum. But if they are experienced in doing it then I am sure there is nothing to worry about.

    Im going this Fri to have my right ear cleaned out.
    Clogged feeling started last Sat after using a QTip. Husband brought home ear wax cleaning kit Sun morn that we (he helps) used twice. Didnt use again till this afternoon (Tues). Too busy over Christmas Eve/Day. Called doc and he said that yes the wax needs to be softened before he can clean them out.
