Turbinate Cautery, anyone?
 

Has anyone had Turbinate Cautery?

I have large turbinates, which cause a whole host of issues...congestion, headaches, dizziness, etc. Had sinus surgery/septoplasty in 2001 (which included turbinate reduction), have used every brand of nasal steroid spray on the planet and take allergy shots.

On the 15th I am having Intramural Turbinate Cautery. Being the research freak that I am, just wondering if anyone has had this done...? I understand that it can be done under a local, but I am having it performed under a general at a surgery center dedicated to ENT procedures.
