    Small flesh bump
    I had my tonsils out 17 years ago. About 10 months ago I noticed that I had a very small flesh colored bump in the left area where my tonsil use to be. I still have it - no other symptoms though. When I touch it, it feels like a smooth round little bump. It goes along with my color of skin inside my mouth. There is no white on it. Can someone tell me what they think I am getting worried from this.

    I went to the ENT this morning. My left tonsil area has grown lymphatic tissue. The doc said that if any cells are left from a tonsilectomy your tonsil can grow back. Odd but interesting.....
