Turbinectomy/Post-op Questions
 
Hi!! Got back from my ENT today...my problem is snoring. He says my turbinates are huge and`need to be removed...I'm wondering how`long will I be out of work...and how is the pain after. I'm 40, at 38 I had my tonsils out...it was awful. Is a turbinectomy that bad??? Any input would be GREAT!! Jen in NJ

I had the septomoplasty with the turbinate reduction at the same time as the tonsillectomy. I was back at work in 9 days but mainly admin tasks the first few days. This surgery helped my snoring immensely. I had these surgeries over a year ago to alleviate mild sleep apnea.
