    Itching nasal passage

I woke up during the night with an itching in my nasal passage. I had a lot of mucus. I have allergies but never had nasal itching. I (being gross here) reached as far into my nasal passage and can actually feel the itch trigger area. I flushed with a highly diluted mix of hydrogen proxide and water but that was to no avail. The itch and constant runny nose it cause kept me all half the night and I still have it today. I have never heard of the passage itching, I usually don't itch. Have you had nasal itching? I took Allegra generic but this hasn't helped. I'm wondering if I should go to a doctor. I would really appreciate if someone would respond. Thank you, Blessing, Annie
