Hearing heartbeat in one or both ears.

Today, I woke with a migraine. Took some pain pills and slept it off since doc didnt refill migraine script. But upon waking the second time, I noticed my left eye kinda spazzin and the pupil was larger and I could also hear my heartbeat in my left ear. It has stopped now but I'm just kinda concerned because of the combination of migraine and left eye and left ear problems.

I have recurrent sinus infections and earlier this year I got pretty sick due to an infection in my left ear. I went to doctor simply because I had a fever and was dizzy. Had no earaches or anything. I do notice quite often that my left ear has like an oily discharge and also feels like I have a wild hair in it. Drives me nuts because its a tickle/itch that I cant scratch.

I lost my job and insurance, otherwise I'd see my doctor. Now that it would cost me an arm and a leg I dont want to be seen unless there is cause for worry.

A little of my health history is I take levothroid since I'm hypothyroid, and hctz for water retension, I was prescribed blood pressure medication but stopped taking it since it made me lethargic. Sometimes I have what sounds like loud wind blowing into a microphone in both ears or one. I also have a deviated septum which leaves left nostril wide open and the right keeps getting narrower. Its almost all the way closed off now. I've heard the heart beat sounds before but never for long periods of time and it was in one or both ears. I've also seen my heartbeat in my eyes as in light would seem darker with each pump, I think I heard it in my ears at the same time I saw with my eyes. Seeing it has only happened a few times over several years. I

I took my bp AFTER the heart beat sound stopped and it was normal. Now the migraine is gone but there is a slight pain behind my left eye and my left ear feels like it needs to pop, and my left sinus is tender. Any ideas on what this could be? Or any helpful input?

I wish there was a way to just ask my doctor this. Maybe there will be in the future lol, but I highly doubt it.

Re: Hearing heartbeat in one or both ears.

If you can hear your heartbeat you are likely suffering from Semi-Circular Canal Dehiscence Syndrome SCCD or Patulous Eustachian Tube - look them up and see if your symptoms match...
