ej12345 Newbie (male) Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: cincinnati,oh Posts: 1	turbinate reduction via cautery I am having nasal congestion at night only on my left side. My doctor wants to do electrocautery on both sides. Do you think that cautery is necessary on both sides when the problem is limited to one? What about long term prognosis comparing cautery to other techniques?
