Can post-nasal drip cause mucus/blood-streaked stools??

gradysgurl18 Junior Member (female) Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: jenison, MI, USA Posts: 12	Can post-nasal drip cause mucus/blood-streaked stools?? Started out suffering from a sore throat/white patches which was NOT strep or mono. Then I developed a feeling of something stuck in my throat and have had post-nasal drip for about a week. The past 2 days I've had small bowel movements that are basically just mucus and have bloody streaks in them. Could my throat issues be causing this? Additional info: I'm 26 years old, no history of any bowel disease.
