Post Clear fluid dripping from nose, impossible to sleep

Hey folks. I'm a 26 year old male who recently got over a case of mastoiditis in August. Although the infection is gone, my ear is still being filled with fluid and it it makes it very hard to hear. This fluid seems to be leaking out my nose whenever I bend over and it drips down the back of my throat when I sleep. The thing is, there is so much fluid coming out that it produces an almost "drowning" sensation when I try to sleep. I weeze and cough because I have all this fluid interrupting my breathing and it's impossible to sleep.

I currently irrigate my nose at least twice daily and have a steroid nasal spray. This helped for about 4 days but now I'm back to where I started. I usually let my nose drain for about 2 hours daily and I lose at least 2 cups of liquid or more (there's a TON of fluid coming out of my nose which is emptying my ear). After I fully drain I can hear again 100%, but after I attempt to sleep I'm completely filled with fluid again. My ENT said the irrigation/spray would clear this up (he didn't seem to think it's a big deal) but it's no longer working.

Anyone know what this could be and what I could do to get rid of all this fluid? After doing some research, some folks think that I might be leaking CSF fluid but with my ear being full I'm not sure that's the case (there's no yellow tint or anything ,its just clear salty fluid). I'm seeing a different ENT next Monday but going through another week of this is going to really take a toll on me. I can't sleep and the pressure in my head is awful. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i have had a csf leak from my nose for 14 years. although not as much as you lose. i quit using the sinus rinse cuz i would get confused as to whether it was the leak or left over water. but it's been like five days since my last rinse and i'm still leaking. so anyway. my only advice to you is if it is a leak from your head they can usually do a repair through your sinuses. mine was completely spontaneous and it tastes salty and is clear. it runs down the back of my throat too and i've been coughing up alot of junk lately from it. good luck and i hope you find out what it is. i still wonder what's going on with me sometimes.
