noise in ears after ear infection

Hi,
If your Tinitus is the end result of an ear infection then given time it will most likely clear up. This type of ringing in the ears after an infection can take weeks even months to go completely.
I have Tinitus myself it just came from what, I have no clue. There is no cure for tinitus, I have had mine most of my life and I'm in my sixties. In time you learn to ignore it. I was told by my ENT Dr that it can be masked by another sound. I dont know how they do this but I decided not to go down that road incase it made things worse. I was told mine probably came about by working in noisy factories when I was younger.
If yours remains the same after a few more weeks you should ask to be reffered to an ENT specialist.

I have had Tinnitus since middle of August. Ear Doctor said no medicine
or surgery that could fix this. Audiologist could not help and just give counselling. What should I do ? Day and night noises were in my ear and head. Finally, I made up my mind to go to Internet for Tinnitus. It might help.

hi there William I am the same But I going to see ent doc Monday dont hold out much hope as they all say the same but I try any thing hope things a better for you
