Turbinate Reduction and Bilateral FESS-Headaches and Swelling

Hello! So, I had a turbinate reduction and bilateral FESS (endoscopic sinus surgery) done on 10/18/12...about 5 days ago. I've been having a terrible headache and the swelling is rather bothersome. It's to the point where the pain medicine will NOt help the headache. And im having difficulty sleeping due to the nagging headache!!! I suffer with migraines and am trying to avoid a migraine attack. How long after surgery does the headaches and swelling last, and are these normal symptoms? Also, my follow up appointment is scheduled for exactly 2 weeks after surgery....is this a normal follow-up time. I just want some relief already !!!
