I thought I had BPPV, but I am not sure

So, this is long, but I would appreciate it if you took time to read and help out in any way, thank you. This has taken place from August 2012 to present.
I woke up one morning noticeably Dizzy, I laid on my back to do stretches and when I closed my eyes I was very dizzy. I stood up quickly and went to the Doctor. The Doctor did some neurological test and concluded that I had BPPV. The doctor had me do the vertigo maneuvers, but during the maneuvers I did not respond as expected, I did not really get dizzy, only a little bit. Never minding that, the doctor prescribed some pills for vertigo and made a recommendation to an Ear specialist. The Ear specialist did neurological test and hearing test. My hearing test came back a little low, but not a concern. The Ear specialist confirmed that I had BPPV and did the Epley maneuvers, but again I did not really get dizzy from these maneuvers. I was recommended to a physical therapist. I did two sessions with the therapist and we did very in depth Epely maneuvers. The therapist concluded that I did not have BPPV. The therapist suspected that the dizziness could be from tight neck muscles, but this suspicion was ruled out after a light neck massage. I went back to the Ear specialist for a follow up. I relayed what the therapist had told me. The Ear specialist agreed with the therapist, I do not have BPPV. The Ear specialist told me that I most likely had at one point an ear infection behind the ear drum, and that even tho the infection is gone it can cause balance problems, it can take months to heal. I feel like the Ear specialist is just guessing.
So, after all that no resolve and I still suffer. I can lay down and not get immediately dizzy as before, but still uncomfortably dizzy. I am also dizzy though out the day, regardless of position, but seems to get worse if I close my eyes. A headache is often common paired with light nausea and ringing in the ears. I am not sure where to turn the doctors just take my money and give no solution, it effects my entire life. I have a hard time studying or doing anything at all. It's absolutely terrible. I am a healthy 24 year old male, but I have had some concussions, about 8. After each concussion I had an MRI and everything checked out. I heard that brain injuries can cause dizziness, but I can not correlate the symptoms to the concussion. My last concussion was in 2011 and all these problems started this year in August.
Any help is much appreciated, I have no were else to turn. Thanks again.
