Air pressure/flying caused my tinnitus.

Sorry if I am repeating questions already asked, but I'm freaking out and spiraling into deep depression over my tinnitus. I have done six long haul flights this year (three return trips), and every time I noticed my tinnitus got worse (it started after the first trip). After the last return leg it has got significantly worse and I have become very depressed, anxious and stressed to the point where I am not eating properly, talking to anyone, not even my family.

I need/want to fly again (to Australia) and am freaking out that it will get worse. I have Earplanes, Actifed tablets, nasal spray etc (i did none of this on the flights), and am considering buying the Bose Acoustic 15 noise reduction headphones after much reading online.

My question(s) is, which is more likely to of caused the tinnitus? the loud engine noise, the change in altitude and air pressure, or both? I know its hard to say, but would it get worse with these precautions?
