Unhappy Sinus Infection for 7 months, absolutely miserable. Help please.?

This started in July of 2012 and since then I've found several painful lymph nodes in my face/neck area mainly, over the past month or so I've had intense pressure behind my eyes, forehead and my cheeks hurt whenever I touch them. My vision is also sometimes a bit blurry and I swear I'm seeing more flurries than usual. I've tried treating my sinus infection with the Neti Pot but I believe i started using to late (december - january) because I don't really feel any better. I've also tried using a humidifier in my room for six months but I don't believe it has helped much. I'm not entirely sure what caused my infection because technically I'm not allergic to anything (I've seen an Allergist last winter and had tests ran.) and its hard to treat with Antibiotics because I'm allergic to almost all of them (cirpofloxacin, zithromax, bactrim, penicillin, doxycycline....the only one I'm not allergic to is clindamycin.) so most doctors that I've seen for this have either passed me over to another doctor or are scared too treat me (because of my history with medications) and give me a stupid excuse for why this is happening (an example of an excuse: "Your lymph nodes are swollen because you are thin and don't have enough meat on your bones.", "It's just stress and nothing to worry about.", "There aren't any lymph nodes in the facial region, therefore you basically don't know what you're talking about.") which only makes me even more anxious. I'm seriously at the end of my rope here and only fear that this sinus infection will become worse and eventually land me in the hospital. Although I've recently made an appointment to see a 2nd ENT specialist this month, I'm still pessimistic. What are the odds that this doctor will really be able to help me get to the root of this.? This isn't all in my head and I'm genuinely suffering here. I don't know what to do anymore and could really appreciate it if someone could offer comments or suggestions.

thanks in advance.

Oftn times it is hard to get to the root of a sinus problem. Your case sounds severe enough to consider sinus surgery. I am a teenage male, and had surgery in December for a completely blocked frontal sinus that did not respond to antibiotics or anti inflammatory steroids. Sinus surgery is a very effective option in your case. It will clear the blockage, and you will feel much better in a couple of weeks. I strongly recommend talking to a doctor about a CT scan and surgery to confirm the diagnosis an clear out your maxillary and ethnoid blockage.

Good luck!
