Question Submandibular gland removal over year ago

I had my submandibular gland removed feb 2012 because of a tumor on it. I healed well. Last 6 months though I feel as if my throat is closing or something is out of place and its hard to swallow sometimes. I also have a muscle (or so I believe. My chiropractor told me it is the Sternomyohynoid. However it starts right where the tube was placed after surgery). I do circular motions on that part where the tube was and I can feel what to me seems like clicking. And I dot know if what I'm moving around is scar tissue or what. Has anyone had anything like this after this surgery?!?!?! I need some relief. Going crazy. ENT says it is most likely acid reflux or post nasal drip. When i was there for office visit he stuck the scope up my nose to look back there. He said it looked good. Really? That can cause swelling? Desperate.
